Description
The Affiliate system needs a couple automation tasks to be created and run daily.
- Cron tasks
- Affiliate Monthly Report
- Any affiliate monthly emails that should be sent by cron should be run (e.g. the monthly referral report)
- The cron task should say, "A monthly affiliate email report will be sent on the 1st of the month for the previous month." similar to the credit card reminders task on the 15th of the month
- Affiliate Orders
- Evaluates whether any pending affiliate referrals have reached maturity, and if so, updates them and payout amounts
- Set the time that this runs by default to be significantly earlier than the Affiliate Monthly Report so that the affiliate data is most-up-to-date by the time the monthly report is generated.
- Affiliate Monthly Report
Be sure this works for install, upgrade, and uninstall!
