DirectAdmin: Domain validation only requires one octet label

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Closed
    • Priority: Major
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Affects Version/s: 4.3.0
    • Fix Version/s: 4.5.0-b1
    • Component/s: Modules
    • Labels:
      None

      Description

Domain validation checks that one or more labels be given (e.g. "label") rather than two or more labels (e.g. "label.label" or "example.com"). Two or more labels should be required for domains to include the TLD.

The DirectAdmin module doesn't appear to be doing any domain validation, so a client can enter anything in the domain field during checkout. We should be validating the domain provided like we do with cPanel.

We should be validating the domain provided like we do with cPanel. Domain validation checks that zero or more labels be given (e.g. "label") rather than one or more labels (e.g. "label.label" or "example.com"). One or more labels should be required for domains to include the TLD.
