Description
Product Bundles. This task needs a lot more information, but in summary:
It's useful to be able to sell packages as part of a bundle. All or none. When you order a bundle, you get everything in it. That might include hosting and a domain, or hosting and SSL certificate, or any number of packages.
Admin UI
- Need a new section for Bundles, possibly Packages > Bundles that allows the creation of a bundle, with a bundle name, and assigning Packages to the bundle.
Client UI
- Bundles should be listed differently so it's obvious that they are part of a bundle. Perhaps we show the bundle name in the services widget, and clicking the row or management button shows a list of all of the packages/services in that bundle.
- A service in a bundle cannot be cancelled without cancelling the entire bundle.
- The ability to upgrade or downgrade a package in a bundle might need to be a permission option on the specific bundle, whether to allow it or not.
Order
- Add support for bundles on the order form, could be displayed similar to package groups but you buy the entire bundle and not a specific item with it.
- Adding a bundle to cart will add all the packages to cart, and you can walk through configuration of each package.
- Removing a package belonging to a bundle from the cart will remove all packages in the bundle.
- Should support linking, so you can link a user directly to a bundle like you can a specific package.
