Add Oauth2 support for outgoing email.

    Details

    • Type: New Feature
    • Status: Open
    • Priority: Major
    • Resolution: Unresolved
    • Affects Version/s: 5.10.0-b1
    • Fix Version/s: 5.12.0-b1
    • Component/s: Staff Interface
    • Labels:
      None

      Description

Add OAuth2 as a supported outgoing delivery method. OAuth2 does appear to be supported by Symfony Mailer and many in the industry seem to be drifting toward requiring OAuth2 over SMTP for outgoing mail.

Under Settings > Company > Emails > Mail Settings, add a new OAuth2 option for Delivery Method.

OAuth2 requires some of the same fields as SMTP, as well as fields like Client ID and Client Secret (At least these are the terms Google uses when utilizing OAuth2 instead of SMTP)g
