Cannot apply multiple amounts to the same invoice from the same transaction

          Description

          It is expected that subsequent transaction amounts applied to the same invoice from the same transaction as one that has already been applied, would be added together. However, instead, the action fails silently because the SQL query results in 0 matched rows.

          This is caused by an incorrectly-escaped value in the DUPLICATE clause of the offending query.

          This may be encountered in the system, for instance, when attempting to apply multiple partial payments.
