In the System Overview widget, clicking the cog icon and see Graph Date Range contains 2 options. 7 days, and 30 days. Add some additional options:
Year to Date
Current Month
1 Days
2 Days
...
365 Days
Check that the number of days shown actually are shown. 30 days seems to show 26 days currently in testing.
Year to date should show current year, Jan 1 to current date.
Current month, 1st of month to current date.
